Game Instructions: In the game Five in a Row, two players take turns placing their game pieces on a board. The objective is to line up five of their pieces in a straight line—either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—before the opponent manages to do the same. Each player must focus on both building their own row and blocking their opponent.
Our version of Five in a Row doesn’t end once all game pieces are placed. Each player has 16 pieces, and when all are on the board, a new phase begins called Overtime. In Overtime, players move the already-placed pieces to any new position. The first player to achieve five in a row wins the game.
